Christian Formation Program Policy
Registration Policy-
-registration begin the last Sunday in March and ends the last Friday in
August. Sessions and classes are filled on a first-come, first-served basis
and close when registration ends. Exceptions will be made only for NEW
parishioners after August 28, 2009.
Sacrament Policy-
-according to Archdiocesan policy, at least one year prior formation is
mandated in order to receive First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and
Confirmation.
Attendance Policy-
-attendance will be taken in all classrooms. This applies to the year prior
and the year of sacrament formation. Children preparing for the sacraments
of Reconciliation and Eucharist must be in regular attendance with no more
than 3 excused absences.
Because there are only 9 meeting dates, any
Confirmation Candidate with more than 2 absences will be removed from the
Confirmation Program.
Divine Mercy Parish requests that religious education
families voluntarily contribute at least $10 per week to support the overall
efforts of the community.
