Baptismal Preparation Classes
In baptism,
you ask for God to welcome your
child into God’s family (the church).
In baptism,
God asks you to become active
in God’s family (the church).
For this
reason, we require parish membership
from the parents of the child being baptized.
Baptism
Preparation requires at least one parent to
attend one two hour formation session:

Baptism classes are the third Monday of every other month from 6:30 -
8:30 p.m. in the Parish Life Center

Expectant parents are encouraged to attend the
class prior to the birth of their child. Godparents are also

Scheduling
Baptisms
may be scheduled at any mass on the first and third Sundays of
the month after you have attended the baptism class.
Saturday
4:00
Sunday
7:30, 9:00, 10:45
Or on the 1st or 3rd
Sunday after the 10:45 mass at Marquette Avenue, at approximately 11:45 a.m.
Parents who attended a baptism
class within the past two years or so are exempt from having to take it
again. However, they must still contact the Parish Office
762-6810 x111 to be excused and to receive the necessary paperwork to go
ahead with the baptism.
