Children's Liturgy of the Word

What is Children's Liturgy of the Word?
Children's Liturgy of the Word is a child-friendly translation of scripture.  The children are dismissed at the beginning of mass to go with adults who lead them in age-appropriate study of the readings.  The children are involved in dramatic depictions, singing, and discussions on how the bible affect their everyday lives.  They join their parents after the homily.

When is Children's Liturgy of the Word?
Sundays - 10:45 at Divine Mercy Church
Meeting every Sunday
except on Holidays

What Age should my child be to participate?
Generally, the child should be at least 4 years old and can attend up to 4th Grade to benefit.   Parents of the smaller children are also welcome to assist in keeping the children involved in the discussion.

It’s fun and educational!
