Life With Christ is a Wonderful Adventure

Hey y’all!
“Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure.” This quote from Pope St. John Paul II is spot on. When you live your life according to the will of Christ, you will meet people, do things, and have experiences that will surprise you, challenge you, and change your life for the better. The Lord may not take you zip lining through Costa Rica, or even move you across the country straight out of college to start your dream job, but He will truly do great things in your life if you let Him.
I think the words JPII used were intentional. “Wonderful” and “adventure” have generally good connotations, but they don’t guarantee constant happiness. Adventures can be scary and difficult and exhausting. Something that fills you with wonder can be overwhelming. Life with Christ will not make you happy or comfortable 24/7; however, we were not made for comfort, we were made for greatness. Life with Christ will make you great. It will stretch and challenge you. It will take you to places you never thought you’d see and introduce you to people you never thought you’d meet. It will fulfill you in ways that nothing else can.
