Congratulations on your engagement! When you come to the Catholic Church to ask for a sacramental marriage, you are asking not only for God's blessing on your wedding day, but for God's involvement in your entire married life.
Since marriage is a solemn and holy commitment, the Church requires engaged couples to partake in a preparation process to ensure your understanding and willingness to make this type of commitment.
Preparation process includes:

Initial appointment with Fr. Bob or Fr. Steve to set a date and receive information on preparing for your wedding.

Meetings with a married couple from Divine Mercy who are trained facilitators in marriage preparation(FOCCUS).

Registration and completion of an Archdiocesan Engagement Enrichment Day.

Follow-up meeting(s) with your celebrant.
