Our Parish

Our Mission Statement

We, the faith community of Divine Mercy Parish, gather together to praise God through prayer, evangelization and service.  Aware of our rich and diverse Catholic traditions, we commit ourselves to sharing the Gospel of Christ with all of God's people, acting as a sign of God's love to all whose lives we touch.  We live the Word of God by:

              - Promoting the Christian formation of our children, youth and adults
              - Strengthening our faith by celebrating the Liturgy with prayer, song and thanksgiving to God
              - Unifying the Christian community by prayer, education & communication by working for justice and charity for all
              - Practicing Christian stewardship of time, talent and treasure

Divine Mercy has a rich history that has touched the lives of many in the South Milwaukee community.  In 2003, the four Catholic Parishes in South Milwaukee merged into one.  St. Adalberts, St. Marys, St. Johns and St. Sylvesters became Divine Mercy Parish.  We are proud of all we have to offer the Catholic Community.  Our parishioners come from South Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Franklin, Cudahy, Milwaukee and Racine.
