Palm Sunday

Palm Sunday kicks off the Holy Week, in which we recount Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem.  Each member receives a palm as we acclaim Jesus as our Redeemer, Our King.

At this particular mass, we will also hear of Christ's Passion and Death.

Please join us for our masses this weekend.

Saturday Vigil Mass at 4:00 pm

Sunday Masses at 7:30 am, 9:30 am,  and 11:00 am

Saturday Confessions start at 2:30 pm, and end at 3:40 pm.

Please be mindful of the time, as the celebrant has to get ready for mass.

The Sacred Triduum

The Sacred Triduum are the holiest “3” days of the Church year, in which the Christian people recall the suffering, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  We invite all to join us during these holiest of days as we partake in these mysteries.

Holy Thursday

On this night, we commemorate the institution of the Holy Eucharist and the priesthood.  At this mass, we will receive the holy oils used for the sacraments, which were blessed by the Archbishop earlier in the week at the Cathedral for the Chrism Mass.  Father Joe will then wash the feet of 12 parishioners, demonstrating service to others, which stems from our baptism as priest, prophet, and king.  We also recall the Last Supper, in which Christ shares His Precious Body and Blood through the Holy Eucharist.  The mass concludes with a procession to the Altar of Repose, where we will have a brief prayer service and reflection.  Come and join us for this very special mass.

Mass begins at 7:00 pm

There will be some time for silent prayer before the Blessed Sacrament at the Altar of Repose for half an hour after the mass, or until 9:30 pm, whichever comes first.

Good Friday

It is at this liturgy that we are reminded how much God truly loved the world, in that He gave His only Son to die for our sins.  It is here that we recall the story of Christ's Passion and Death as we come forward to venerate and kiss the Cross.  While mass is not celebrated on this day, we will receive Holy Communion from the reserved hosts, which were consecrated the night before.  Please join us for this beautiful liturgy and open our hearts to God's unconditional love for each and every one of us.

Liturgy starts at 1:00 pm

The Stations of the Cross will be prayed immediately after the service.

Holy Saturday and Easter Vigil

On Holy Saturday, we will have a Food Blessing for anyone who would like to bring their Easter dinner goods to the church.  It is appropriate to bring them in a small basket or bag, and we will offer thanks to God for the bounty He has given to each of us.  The service lasts around 20 minutes, so take a few moments to come, give thanks, and receive God's graces.

Food Blessing Prayer Service begins at 10:00 am.

Join us later that evening for the Easter Vigil, in which we recall our Salvation History.  It is here that we begin outside of the church, in the dark, and hear of how Christ dispelled the darkness of the

world.  The new Paschal candle is lit, and we pass the light around, symbolizing how our faith in Christ has been, and will continue, to be passed on for many generations.  We recall our salvation history through the Sacred Scriptures, and we will also welcome our catechumenates through the sacraments of initiation.  We are also able to celebrate the Holy Mass for the first time since Holy Thursday.

Easter Vigil Mass will begin at 8:00 pm.
