Divine Mercy offers Grief Support Ministry for adults to provide opportunities of support, hope, resources, and prayer for those who mourn and have experienced loss/grief. A person does not have to RSVP, be a member of the parish, nor attend every meeting.
Grief support generally meets the fourth Monday of each month from 10 - 11:30 a.m. at 800 Marquette Avenue in South Milwaukee.
Our social component, Good Grief, usually meets on the second Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the Bucyrus Club (1919 12th Avenue in South Milwaukee) for food, fellowship, and informal support.
All are welcome!
Grief Support will meet next on July 29th, 10-11:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy's 800 Marquette Avenue site.
August’s Grief Support meeting will instead be a Good Grief Gathering on Monday, August 12th and Monday, August 26th - both at 11:00 a.m. at the Bucyrus Club located at 1919 12th Avenue in South Milwaukee.
Just look for a “Good Grief” tabletop sign with some (perhaps) familiar and welcoming faces.
Good Grief recently met at the South Milwaukee Farmers Market. Refreshing drinks, delicious food, lively music and nice companions on a warm summer afternoon. What could be better?
