THE HUMAN CONCERNS COMMITTEE EVALUATES, COORDINATES AND SETS GOALS FOR PARISH WIDE HUMAN CONCERNS; meeting monthly at All Committee Night ON THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH.
MISSION STATEMENT
The Human Concerns Commission of Divine Mercy Parish acknowledges that every Christian is called to service and to work for justice for all persons in need. As a mandated standing committee under the parish Council, the Commission discerns the physical and spiritual needs of people in the parish and the wider community, and works for positive changes in the structures of our society.
Our Ministries
Human Concerns encompasses a wide range of outreach ministries that seek to address the spiritual and physical needs of our brothers and sisters in Christ. These include:
- Bereavement Ministry
- Grief Support
- Prayer Shawl
- Prayer Network
- St. Vincent de Paul Society (Divine Mercy Chapter)
- St. Vincent de Paul Meal Program
- Respect Life Committee
- Partners in Faith & Friendship (Guatemala connection)
