Divine Mercy Conference of St. Vincent de Paul
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers tangible assistance to those in need on a person-to-person basis. An essential precept of the Society’s work is to provide help while conscientiously maintaining the confidentiality and dignity of those who are served.
Assistance with a personal connection makes the work of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul unique. Two Vincentians visit with the person/family and determine what aid is needed and can be provided. Aid may take the form of direct dollar support for utilities, rent, etc,; vouchers for furniture, clothing, appliance, etc.; or in-kind items like food.
The Divine Mercy Conference also hosts a small food pantry every Tuesday from 11-1 PM at 800 Marquette Ave.
The Divine Mercy Conference provides assistance to the needy with annual donations from Parishioners of approximately $14,000.00 and from donated items valued at approximately $10,000.
