Saturdays of Service are perfect for anyone who loves gardening and are a great opportunity for families to work together and take ownership and pride in your parish! When we all work together, it makes a Divine difference.

Saturday of Service is back!  Will you help?  All we need are some volunteers every 3rd Saturday of the month, now through October, to help maintain the landscaping at our two     Divine Mercy sites.  The goal is to weed the church and school sites, spread mulch, and have enough volunteers to cover both areas.

What does that look like?  6 or more people with a couple of wheelbarrows or a trailer, shovels and landscaping rakes will make the task easier.  Spread the word, gather family and friends, and meet after Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the church to keep this great effort to beautify our parish going.  It would help to have regular volunteers, but you are not obligated each month.  Come for as long as you can and help make our locations’ outsides as beautiful as the insides!  An RSVP is helpful so we can determine how to best utilize our volunteer help.

Want to help, but can’t make it on Saturday? Consider the Adopt-a-Plot program.  “Own” a sidewalk square or two or a parking island and weed and maintain your area at your own schedule and convenience.  Work is easier, more enjoyable, and the load lighter with a large number of people doing a little on their schedule and their pace.

Questions?  Want to help?  Please contact Manny Torres at mannyt11@yahoo.com or 414-550-8985 (call/text)  for more information or to adopt a plot to care for long term.

Let your reward be the good work you do for the church and God!
